Heartsaver for K-12 Schools Course

This course is designed for K-12 school students, faculty, and staff who successfully complete an AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, Heartsaver CPR AED, or Heartsaver First Aid Course. “Faculty” refers to teachers and coaches; “staff” refers to an employee of a K-12 school or K12 school system.

Heartsaver Skills ONLY

After completing the online portion at shopcpr.heat.org/heart code (which is a separate fee from you skills session) student schedule a structured session that focuses on meaningful skills practice, discussions about local protocols, and skills testing. All students MUST have completed the HEATSAVERS/HEARTCODE ONLINE and MUST bring a copy of your completion certificate at the time of skills session.

Family & Friends CPR Course

This course is designed for anyone who wants to learn CPR in a group environment and does not need a course completion card for a job or other requirements. This course is ideal for community groups, parents, grandparents, caregivers, schools and students, and others interested in learning how to save a life.

Note: This is a non-certification course.

Heartsaver First Aid CPR/AED

This course will be held in-person 105 W. Ridgeland Avenue, Suite 4 Ridgeland, MS 39157.
Please ensure you are registering for the correct course, as it is the student’s responsibility to select the appropriate class. This course is designed for laypersons and includes CPR, AED, and First Aid training. It is not intended for healthcare professionals such as nurses, nursing students, EMTs, paramedics, etc.

BLS Provider Course

3 hrs··$70

This course will be held in-person at 105 W. Ridgeland Avenue, Suite 4 Ridgeland, MS 39157.
Please ensure you are registering for the correct class, as it is the student’s responsibility to select the appropriate class.

This class is intended for students who do not currently hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support card or whose card has already expired.

If your AHA BLS card is still valid, you should register for the Basic Life Support Renewal course instead.

Please note: This course does not include First Aid instruction. If you require First Aid certification, you must enroll in a Heartsaver course, which provides CPR, AED, and First Aid training. The Heartsaver course is designed for laypersons, not healthcare professionals.

The AHA’s BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-hospital and prehospital settings. This course includes CPR and AED training for Adult, Child and Infant victims.
